| Samsung Techwin America Offers A High School Student Scholarship Program |

Ridgefield Park, New Jersey (February 3, 2009) – Samsung Techwin America''s Electronic Imaging Division (www.SamsungsPresenterUSA.com), a market leader in document camera technology, today announced that it is offering an opportunity for seven high school students to each earn $1,000 scholarships. "Our products are changing the way teachers teach, and students learn, in the classroom," said Richard Bellomy, V.P. of Sales for the Electronic Imaging Division. "With this scholarship program, we want to give something back to the community and at the same time have current high school graduates look forward to better ways to teach our future students."
Students interested in participating just submit a 500 word essay explaining what they think about technology advancements and how these advancements will change the way kids will learn in the future. Is it for the better? The papers will be judged on original thinking, relevance to the real world, and writing quality. Participation requirements - high school student in the United States, teacher to sponsor student, permission to use photo and essay in publicity, and up to a 500 word essay. The submittal deadline is May 1, 2009 and the awards will be announced May 15, 2009. Submittals are made online at www.samsungscholarship.com.
